My name is Jochen and this is my little online space for all things astrophotography and astronomy. I started this website to share some of my work, give insight into my process and to better connect with fellow astrophotographers around the globe.

Working as a music composer and therefore spending a lot of time in front of screens, I’ve been fascinated by watching and photographing the night sky for quite some time now, but it was only in 2019, combined with the move out of the big city, that I started digging more into the deeper looks into our universe.

Since then, I’ve been out basicly every clear night, steadily improving my rig and processing skills in an urge to get the best out my 53° north Bortle 3-4 skies.

I sencerely hope you find this place interesting and it might even spark some ideas or even help getting yourself started in astrophotography. Please never hesitate to hit me up with questions, hints and feedback!
